Experience the magic after dark at Twilight in the Gardens!

BYOBBS (Bring Your Own Booze, Blanket, and Snacks) and spend a relaxing evening picnicking in our glittering mosaicked space! Guests can tap their toes to a lively performance by akadotdotdot, a band that creates long form groove music ranging from dance bops to contemplative soundscapes. Over at our art tables create squeegee art with Jazmyn Jamil. Participants will tap into their abstract creative side by only using paint and a squeegee. This is a fun and easy way to create a masterpiece that you can take home with you!

Guests can also enjoy self-guided tours of our rarely-seen mosaicked basement, and can view our latest exhibition, “After the Flowers Pass: Works by Amir Khadar.

ABOUT THE MUSICIAN:
akadotdotdot is a brass and drums trio from Philadelphia. Koof Ibi (flugelhorn, trumpet), Frank Rein (trombone, tuba), and Mel Regn (drums) blend acoustic and electronic sound into original compositions and covers, building wide layers of harmony and rhythm that mix hip hop, jazz, klezmer, funk, reggaeton, and experimental styles. ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Jazmyn Jamil (she/they) is a Jamaican queer visual artist and teacher based in West Philly. She incorporates her love of use for vibrant colors when highlighting black and brown queer folks into her work. Her primary mediums balance between digital illustrations and traditional paintings and has designed  five murals throughout the city of Philadelphia. Today, she is currently writing and illustrating her first graphic novel.
