Event Description

Chloe Luisa Piñero examines her identity in relation to sexuality, social class, and cultural norms around femininity and gender. Through collected images and objects from her environment, Piñero references personal and collective identity. Piñero blends nostalgic images from vintage advertisements with mainstream social media photographs to examine her relationship with the hypersexualization of women as well as assumptions about class, gender, and power.
