Bring drinks, snacks, and friends for a relaxing evening in our glittering mosaicked space! Attendees will be treated to a live performance by Faith the Violinist in our mosaicked courtyard. A Philly local, Faith will fill our sparkly space with their unique sound and original music. Guests can also head over to our craft tables, where Teaching Artist Valentín Sánchez-Stoddard will teach us how to create recycled art resin rings or magnets. With a pinch of this and a dash of that, get ready to bling out your own ring. Using miscellaneous arts and crafts materials, create your one-of-a-kind statement piece and a definite conversation starter!

Attendees can also enjoy self-guided tours of our rarely-seen mosaicked basement, and can be one of the first to view our latest exhibition, “Walking Round My Head: Works by Stephen Wright.” Get your tickets now!

ABOUT THE MUSICIAN:
Faith (the Violinist) is a Philly born and raised multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and producer. Faith began playing music about 20 years ago starting on the violin and eventually moving on to learn other instruments and mediums of music performance and production. For over 10 years Faith has been performing along the east coast and can sometimes be found street performing around Philadelphia, most notably by the Whole Foods on 10th and South St. Often heard playing solo violin, the original music Faith creates is influenced not only by classical but also neo soul, alternative, funk, and other genres heard and learned growing up in Philadelphia.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Valentín Sánchez-Stoddard (they/them) is a cultural producer, multidisciplinary artist, and community educator living and creating in Philadelphia. Their artistic approach is heavily informed by their Salvadoran-American heritage; themes of explorative identity and storytelling often show up in their teaching and own personal work. Valentín is committed to arts accessibility, regardless of demographics, and takes a light-hearted, sincere tone in connecting with others; they’ve worked extensively with unaccompanied minors and immigrants, formerly unhoused individuals and those in recovery, as well as intellectual and physical disabilities. Valentín enjoys collaborative art-making, especially with recycled materials and mixed-media art, such as printmaking, photography, and illustration. They are also the owner and creator of Little Sánchez Studio, a small business where they sell one-of-a-kind art, ranging from art prints and ceramics to hand-sewn plushies; you can catch some of these creations at the Philly Magic Gardens gift shop, as well as local art markets.
